A native of Havana, Cuba, he has worked as an independent contractor, translator and interpreter, as well as in-house with companies and agencies. In these various roles, he has been a provider as well as a purchaser and coordinator of language services, ranging from sworn depositions to large scale, multinational conferences. His Spanish<>English interpreting services specialize in legal, medical, government and marketing sectors. Formerly President of the Delaware Valley Translators Association he has also served as a director on the board of at the American Translators Association (ATA), and now serves as Chair of the Membership Development Committee. He currently interprets for DOJ hearings at the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) in Philadelphia.
