Liaison/in-person interpreting for filmmakers: among the latest interpreting services were for Director Ryoo Seung-wan of "Escape from Mogadishu" (South Korean entry for 2022 Oscars' Best International Feature Film category), Mr. Boichi (manga artist of Dr. Stone) at Anime NYC (Nov. 2019) and for Director Bong Joon-ho & Actor Song Kang-ho of "Parasite" (2020 Academy Awards winner for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, and Best International Feature Film; Palme d'Or winner of the 2019 Cannes Film Festival among other accolades) My Background: --Creative writing (in Korean, many top writing competition awards won throughout K-12) --Law (bachelor's degree from Seoul National University, http://en.snu.ac.kr/), --Journalism (4 years as editing staff member at Chosun llbo, one of the most prestigious daily newspapers in South Korea, http://english.chosun.com/) --Acting (more than 25 years, with MFA degree in acting from School of Theater, California Institute of the Arts, https://www.calarts.edu/) --Broadcasting experience both in Korea and the U.S. as panelist, reporter, and news anchor at Korean Broadcasting System, Seoul Broadcasting System, Christian Broadcasting System, Radio Korea USA, Korean Home Shopping Network, among others.
